1. Who is responsible

KNet Technologies B.V. is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, and have not appointed one. Privacy questions go to the address above and are answered by us directly.

2. What we collect

Information you give us through the contact form

When you submit the form on our contact page, we receive the fields you completed:

• Your name and work email address (required)
• Your company and, optionally, your country
• The topic you selected, and optionally the metals and production units involved
• The message you wrote

This arrives as an ordinary email in our inbox. It is not stored in a database, a CRM, or any marketing platform. Please do not send confidential plant data, drawings or commercially sensitive material through the form — if we need to exchange that, we will put an NDA in place and use a secure channel.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard web server logs for every request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, HTTP status, referring page and browser user-agent string. These are generated by the web server itself, not by any script on the page, and are used for security and troubleshooting.

The contact form also records the submitting IP address in the notification email, as a basic anti-abuse measure.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email to addresses collected through this form.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Specifically, and deliberately:

• No Google Analytics or any other analytics product
• No advertising, remarketing or conversion pixels
• No embedded social media widgets or share buttons
• No chat widget
• No Google Fonts or other externally hosted fonts — all typefaces are served from our own domain, so your IP address is never disclosed to a font provider

Every asset the site loads comes from knettechnologies.com. Loading a page here does not tell any third party that you visited.

5. How long we keep it

6. Who else can see it

Your data is seen by us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

One processor is involved in the technical operation of the site:

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so — for example in response to a valid order from a competent authority.

7. Where your data is stored

Our web server is located in the Netherlands and backups are held in Lithuania — both within the European Union. Personal data collected through this site is not transferred outside the EU/EEA in the ordinary course of our operations.

If you correspond with us afterwards, that correspondence lives in our email system, also hosted within the EU.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
• Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data, where no legal retention obligation applies
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data while a question is resolved
• Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest
• Portability — receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these, email info@knettechnologies.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason for a deletion request.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country of residence.

9. Security

• The entire site is served over HTTPS; plain HTTP requests are redirected
• Security headers are applied at the server, including a strict Content Security Policy
• The contact form validates and length-limits input, and guards against email header injection
• Access to our hosting and mailbox is restricted to us and protected by strong authentication

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability on this site, please tell us at info@knettechnologies.com — we will take it seriously and we will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data — adding analytics, for instance, or a scheduling tool — we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect. If a change is material and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly.
